Abstract:
The paper describes the last instar larvae known to occur in Scandinavia. Keys to genera and species are given as well as definitions and figures of all morphological terms used. All species are figured.

Abstract:
Discussion of characters used in the taxonomic treat-ment and in the key to European
Cyphon species and in the classification of the genus. The existing type material has been examined and 14 lectotypes are selected and 2 neotypes are designated. Development, life-cycles and habits as well as ecology, morphology, colouration and distribution are taken into account.

BIRKET-SMITH, S. J. R.: On the abdominal morphology of Thysanura (Archaeognatha and Thysanuras.str.). 1974. 67 pp. SEK 40.

Abstract:
The morphology of the abdomen of Petrobius lohmanderi, Lepisma saccharina and Braunsina cf. nudata has been studied from dissected males and females; the musculature and its innervations have been figured. The results have lead to a new interpretation of the external genitalia.

ESS 7.
MÖLLER ANDERSEN, N.: The Limnogonus and Neogerris of the Old World with character analysis and a reclassification of the Gerrinae (Hemiptera: Gerridae). 1975. 96 pp. SEK 56.

Abstract:
The taxonomic affinities of the two genera are discussed on the basis of a character analysis of selected species of the Gerridae (incl. morphology of the pterothorax, the pre-tarsus, the metasternal scent apparatus, the male genitalia, the gynatrial complex of the female reproductive organs, the ultrastructure of the cuticula, the trichobothria and the metasternal scent ostiole). A number of new characters of taxonomic importance are described. The generic and subgeneric classification of Gerrinae is revised and presented in a checklist and a key.
All species from the Old world are redescribed and -- where possible -- fixed by their types or other authoritative evidence. Keys to species and subspecies are given. Bionomics and distribution are discussed.
